The Right Products Part I

Why are good and the right products so important?

My starting place has always been the quality of products I use. I would never compromise on quality when it comes to my treatments, never use lesser quality products. Even when it comes to the cost, I’ve had to overcome a bit of my own fears that my clients would say that ‘oh that’s a little bit expensive’ and be put off by the prices. When I first set up the business, I thought my price point had to be about affordability. I suppose that when I was starting up, I was basing it on prices that I had experienced and that I had grown up affording myself. But as I grew into my career and more mature and experienced in what I do, I became more confident in choosing the products I used, they became a little higher end. I wanted to attract people who were not choosing my services based only on a price point or had a special offer on. It was the same with the products, I wanted to introduce to my clients the products that were worth the value. It is about keeping both the clients and the products, it’s about a long-term plan for care and not just one-off treatments. To have a good home care routine, enjoy the treatments, I want them to know that what they have got will give them results. I am very results driven, using and recommending products that work just make me sparkle with joy. It’s why I do what I do.

How did you find the right products for you and your ladies?

I had not heard of Arbonne when I first was introduced to them. I had been working with another brand, specifically for facials, and it was nice, but it wasn’t wow. I was introduced to them by a doctor down in Southampton who I trusted and ran an aesthetics clinic. I knew that if he was excited about them and he was offering them to his level of clientele who were significant amounts on their procedures, they would be a good fit for me and my clientele. They have very superior formulations, are clean and non-toxic which is what I was looking for.

I thought it best to trial them myself because I knew that if I would not use them myself on a daily basis, then I wouldn’t recommend them to my clients. That really sums up my approach to my role with my clients and my job. I would never, ever, recommend something I wouldn’t use myself. I knew that by recommending Arbonne products to clients, I could be sure they would be getting the highest quality skin care. I was using them personally at home and nothing excites me more than when someone asks what I am using. In this industry, you have to be genuine, authentic. It’s about integrity. I saw quite a difference in my skin when I started. I got excited about it, and I think it comes across to my clients. I have such confidence because I was seeing the results myself.

What results were you seeing?

I was seeing smoothness, brightness, more hydration in my skin. I was seeing a radiance to it. For me, I want to wear as little makeup as possible day-to-day and was never much into wearing heavy layers of foundation. So, I wanted to get my skin to a place I could wear minimal make-up. It was about confidence to wake up and not feel I needed to add anything to look my best. I was able to get to that place with these products.
